  • 1 avocado
  • 120 ml [homemade] coconut milk or other non-dairy milk [1/2 cup]
  • 3 – 4 dates
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter or peanut-free substitute (see notes)
  • 2 heaped teaspoons cocoa powder
  • Pinch salt


  • Dried fruits, coconut flakes, chia seeds etc


  • Cut avocado in halves and remove the seed. Scoop out the flesh and add to the blender with the rest of the ingredients except the toppings.
  • Blend to a smooth puree consistency.
  • Top with some dried fruits, coconut flakes or whatever you like.
